Welcome to CEgs 'great gas and oil boycott of 2008' With the tremendous growth of this sites reach we can't think of a better use of this new found popularity than to try to help alleviate the insidious rising cost of gas and oil based products affecting our great nation and the entire world. As many of you may know CEg is a for profit enterprise but we have limits to our need for profit and donate 10% of our yearly profits to charity...while we appreciate any business that makes a profit we can not in good conscious watch as our nation and the nations around the world suffer from the ever increasing cost
of fuel...the greed that seems pervasive in the oil and gas business enrages and saddens us. And we will not sit still while this plague worsens our countries future while the few rather than the many profit from this un-ending event!
What we propose:
For the rest of the year we propose boycotting all Exxon/Mobil products....
The dates are from August 1st to Decmeber 31st 2008
Though many have tried boycotts of oil and gas they failed due to no one can live without gas for long... so we need to focus on one enterprise rather than many to make our point and that company is Exxon/Mobil, the largest of all the oil companies. The effect will be tremendous with billions of dollars of lost business if everyone that buys oil and gas products all over the world participates...

Also during the boycott please continue your normal gas purchases on the days of the boycott just not from Exxon/Mobil as we must continue to drive etc... With a little luck we may be able to accomplish this great thing and help lower the price of oil and gas...Lets make history together!
