Jacob Mcquade was born on August 1 19997, a happy and healthy boy. Last November Jacob had an MRI which revealed a threatening brain tumor. A neuro surgeon performed an operation to have the tumor removed. Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful and the tumor thrived. A biopsy was then performed which revealed brain stem tumors. One week before Christmas 2006 Jacob began radiation and chemotherapy treatments. The radiation is over but the chemo will continue for 12 months.
Jacob is an amazing kid, he smiles everyday and does whatever the doctors ask of him. He has been poked with needles every week for the past year and a half and never complains. Please keep Jacob in your prayers as he continues on his road to recovery. Join us on October 13th at the Bull Frog Bar and Grille in Redford, Michigan and the 26th at TheDawgHouse in Clintion Township, Michigan and show your support.
